Oh my goodness! I typed this wonderful entry to share with you and guess what, I didn't save it! So I have to start over. But this will be much shorter. Since this year has come in I have been doing some much needed evaluating of my heart and life. Along with that comes looking at the good, the bad and the ugly that is with in me, it has been what I call a spiritual detox! I am greatful for this time because I want to go forward in life with renewed focus and understanding without tripping over the same obstacles that I've already over come. On January 2nd my church began a 'choose your own' fast and it's such a awesome opportunity to become closer to the Lord. Next week I plan on reving up my fast to the Daniel Fast. Looking at the food list this will be the most serious fast I have done but I believe that you reap what you sow. This will require much from me but I am looking forward to reaping much down the line. I will be preping my kitchen with the right foods to keep me focused and quiet time in prayer for keep me spiritually in tuned. I wanted to share this with you because I know that we all have moments when we desire to see changes and make changes in our lives. For me it's not doing ten big things but it's about doing one small change consistently that creates the biggest change. I've done the making lots of huge changes all at once and it became too overwhelming. I didn't keep up with the changes and felt miserable that I didn't. So small consistent steps is where it's at! I will keep you posted on how things are going as I embark on this 40 day Fasting Journey. I am excited to have you as apart of my community and I look forward to 2015 together. Have a beautiful day and may God bless you!
